Using the wheels well
The weapon wheel holds eight slots, one per weapon type, so a loadout is chosen by direction rather than by cycling. The character wheel lets the player swap protagonists outside missions, though the swap is restricted at certain story points. On PC Enhanced, DualSense controllers are supported with adaptive triggers. The phone opens with Up Arrow on PC and D-pad Up on consoles, and it handles contacts, activities, quick saves and the in-game internet. The mechanics behind these wheels are described in getting started.
Can characters be switched during a mission?
Switching is restricted at certain points in the story, and some missions swap characters automatically to complete specific objectives.
Does the PC version support a controller?
Yes. PC players can use a keyboard and mouse or a gamepad, and the controls are customisable.
Hardware needed to run the game on PC is listed on system requirements.
